COCOACHiC Beauty, a young, proudly Brooklyn-based company, celebrates Women's History Month by honoring the beauty in four of the most prominent, organized sisterhoods for Black women with a tribute and 20% off beauty accessories sale* for sorors, family & friends (code: CHICGK06).
Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho sororities were each founded on principles of bonding women and bettering their individual education, leadership and personal development as well as the communities in which they live. These organizations have evolved and continue to endure due to their commitment to the beauty of unity.

What's Good about Your Sisterhood: Being an AKA, I have met some of the most talented, intelligent, ambitious, strong and just cool women. I've been able to lean on them, learn from them, cry on them, laugh with them, and share in their joy. We give to each other and to others. I just love my girls!

Mission: To foster the ideas of service, charity, scholarship, civic and cultural endeavors, sisterhood and finer womanhood. Why You Love Your Org: I love to do community service, and my organization is constantly giving outlets for those opportunities.
What's Good about Your Sisterhood: None of the women in my sorority are the same; we are all different physically and mentally, and we each have something to compliment the other. The networking is also phenomenal! When I first moved to NYC, I didn't know anyone. I reached out to my sorors, and now, I'm still here and closer than ever to my sorors.

Why You Love Your Org: I love Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc because of the sisterhood that was constantly demonstrated to me as a teen as well as a member.
What's Good about Your Sisterhood: Our sisterhood is unconditional. If I go anywhere and a soror recognizes me, my colors or my letters, it is instant love. I do not believe that I've ever gone anywhere in the USA and have not felt the love that is constantly displayed.
– c'est COCOACHiC!: I am COCOACHiC. COCOACHiC is shown through my personification. It is in my skin tones, an Island Twist - Puerto Rican & West Indian, and runs over into my attitude. It is the epitome of my essence and is emulated in my aura. To be COCOACHiC you don't only have to display it through your external physique, but it has to be molded into your core.
