COCOACHiC celebrates Black History Month by honoring the beauty in Black heritage with a vignette featuring Moshood Afrikan clothing designs.

COCOACHiC Beauty, a young, proudly Brooklyn-based company, took inspiration from a combed cotton strapless, full-length, royal purple and gold dress printed with the statement, ‘If you take my joy away from me, you destroy the beauty of yourself. All I have done is to make my people proud’. The limited edition garment is one of many fluid and elegant designs that blend the traditional beauty of Afrikan tailoring with Western flavor found in the MOSHOOD/Afrikan spirit boutique. Its flagship store is a Fulton Street mainstay of more than 11 years in downtown Brooklyn’s flourishing Ft. Greene neighborhood.
